Welcome to "Navigating the New, Charting the Future Together," the joint collaborative conference between the California Library Association (CLA) and the California School Library Association (CSLA). This is the joint conference site for critical information such as exhibits, call for presentation proposals, housing accommodations, sponsorship, registration, etc. CLA and CSLA Conference Committees are working on a dynamic program for November 12-15 at the Sacramento Convention Center. This joint conference stands to be among the largest in the Western States - and we look forward to your partnership as an exhibitor, sponsor, presenter, and/or delegate. Call for Presentation Proposals
The timeframe for accepting presentation proposals has closed. The conference committee is reviewing the submissions. A joint meeting of the CSLA and CLA conference committees will be held in early June to finalize each Association’s group of concurrent sessions with the intent to provide a broad range of topics and at the same time to minimize any direct duplication or competition of session topics. Conference Hotels
There are two hotels available at the Conference group rate of $129 - the Sheraton Grand Hotel and the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The group rate includes complimentary Internet access in your room. There are three ways to make your room reservation: mail, fax, or online.
