General Conference Information

Refer to CLA or CSLA Registration Details for Early Bird Deadlines

There are three options to register: online, mail, or fax. When you register for the Conference, you will need to select which organization you are registering with—CLA or CSLA—regardless of how you submit your payment. Why is this? You have the opportunity to attend any session at Conference, but we must identify you as a CLA or CSLA registrant.

Click on the CLA or CSLA Registration Forms immediately to the right for details about where to mail or fax your registration forms – the mailing and fax information is different for CLA and CSLA.

Access for Attendees with Disabilities

CLA and CSLA are committed to making the Conference accessible to our attendees. If you have a special need that may affect your participation in Conference, please check the appropriate box on your registration form, and attach a brief description of your need. A Conference staff member may contact you prior to the Conference to discuss accommodations.

Badges and Tickets

The Conference badge is your admission to all meetings and to the exhibit hall. It must be worn at all times. Although CLA and CSLA badges are different colors, attendees may take advantage of either Association’s concurrent sessions.

Tickets are required for all meal functions. Tickets are distributed with registration materials. If your plans change and you wish to turn in an event ticket, please work with the Hospitality/Local Arrangements volunteers to network with those who may be looking for a ticket.

CLA Institutes

CLA Institutes and the legislative luncheon are scheduled for Friday, November 11. You may attend an Institute without attending or registering for the rest of the Conference, but you must pre-register. The Institutes for this year’s Conference are described on pages 10-11. Please use the registration form on pages 21 to register for either Institutes or Workshops.

CSLA Workshops

CSLA Workshops and the Legislative Luncheon are scheduled for Friday, November 11; separate fees apply. You may attend the Workshops without registering or attending the rest of the Conference; however, you must pre-register. Refer to the Workshop descriptions listed in the online schedule: go to CSLA Schedule and click on CSLA Workshops/Sessions.

Meal and Event Functions

Order early! Advance meal ticket purchases are a must! Seating is limited, and tickets will not be available for purchase onsite. Be sure to indicate on the registration form if you require vegetarian meals or have a special dietary need. Please note all prices include local tax and required service charges.
